Recreation Internship – Guest Activity & Fitness
at Grand Hyatt Bali As a Recreation Intern, you'll be part of the vibrant team that brings energy, joy, and meaningful connections to our guests through daily activities, fitness programs, and personalized engagement.

Your main mission? To create
distinctive experiences
by helping guests stay active, relaxed, and entertained. You'll assist in organizing and leading various recreational activities (such as yoga, beach games, cultural sessions, and wellness programs), support the operation of the fitness centre, and ensure all equipment and areas are clean, safe, and guest-ready.

This internship will enhance your confidence, communication skills, and creativity, all while working in a dynamic, outdoor-friendly environment. You'll enjoy a
personalized learning journey, supported by your mentor (Learning and Development Manager), coach (Recreation Supervisor), and buddy (a
Recreation team member). You'll also have the opportunity to participate in
employee events
,
volunteer activities, special projects, and employee clubs, among many other
inspiring experiences along the way

Qualifications

  • Currently studying or recently graduated (within the past year) from a D1, D2, D3, D4, or S1 program in Hospitality, Tourism, Sports Science, Recreation Management, Physical Education, Fitness & Wellness, or related major.
  • Willing to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Energetic, friendly, and passionate about connecting with people through fun and meaningful activities.
  • Interested in fitness, wellness, guest service, and event-style engagement.
  • Good verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Outgoing personality, comfortable speaking in front of groups, and enjoys being active.
  • Responsible, well-presented, and a strong team player.
  • Committed to creating distinctive guest experiences through recreational and fitness offerings.
