About the role

Midea Electronics Indonesia is seeking a talented E-commerce Specialist (Mandarin Speaker) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time, office-based role in Central Jakarta, you will play a crucial part in driving the growth and development of our e-commerce business operations. With your exceptional Mandarin language skills, you will be instrumental in expanding our presence in the thriving Chinese market and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and optimise our e-commerce platforms, including online stores and marketplaces, to drive sales and improve operational efficiency
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion
  3. Develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies to attract and engage Chinese customers
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce operations with overall business objectives
  5. Provide exceptional customer service and support to our Chinese-speaking clientele
  6. Monitor and analyse e-commerce performance metrics to inform data-driven decision making
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing or a related field
  2. Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Strong understanding of the Chinese e-commerce market and consumer behaviour
  4. Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools and analytics software
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  6. Problem-solving mindset and a keen eye for detail
  7. Relevant degree in e-commerce, digital marketing, business or a related field
