Edge DC have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist for support our business.

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • A Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, financial modelling or financial accounting.
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm or multinational company is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Planning and coordinating the preparation of the company's budget (technical forecast and budget), and controlling the use of the budget to ensure the effective and efficient utilization of funds.
  • Coordinating and conducting financial planning and analysis to provide financial insights to company leadership for business decision-making.
  • Analyzing the company's financial performance and key business drivers.
  • Preparing presentations for management regarding monthly results, board meetings, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
  • Assist in annual budgeting and long-term business planning processes.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial planning and analysis processes.
