About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Assistant to join our team at PT Datang Dssp Power Indonesia in Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial and accounting support to ensure the accurate and efficient management of our financial operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  • Perform data entry, maintain financial records, and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing process, including the preparation of relevant financial reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support decision-making
  • Ensure the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor financial performance against targets
  • Provide administrative support and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance and accounting department

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the power generation industry
  • Strong proficiency in financial accounting and reporting, including the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate financial records
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
