Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing all financial and accounting activities of the company in an accurate and timely manner. The Accounting Officer ensures all transactions are properly recorded, financial reports are reliable, and company compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations is maintained.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Recording & Bookkeeping

  2. Record all daily financial transactions, including income and expenses.

  3. Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and other accounting records.
  4. Ensure all transactions are supported by complete and valid documents (invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, etc.).
  5. Cash & Bank Management

  6. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between records and actual balances.

  7. Monitor cash inflow and outflow (cash flow management).
  8. Manage petty cash and prepare periodic cash reports.
  9. Financial Reporting

  10. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow, and equity reports).

  11. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management regarding the company's financial condition.
  12. Prepare supporting reports for internal and external audits.
  13. Taxation

  14. Calculate, report, and ensure timely payment of company taxes (VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax, etc.).

  15. Prepare and organize tax documentation according to applicable regulations.
  16. Coordinate with external tax consultants when required.
  17. Budgeting & Financial Control

  18. Assist in preparing and monitoring the company's annual budget.

  19. Control operational expenses to ensure they remain within approved budgets.
  20. Report any variance between actual spending and budgeted figures.
  21. Internal Coordination

  22. Collaborate with other departments (Operations, Purchasing, HR, Villa Management) regarding financial documentation and payment processes.

  23. Ensure financial administrative procedures are implemented properly across departments.
  24. Audit & Compliance

  25. Prepare documents and reports required for audit purposes.

  26. Ensure accounting and reporting systems comply with financial standards (SAK/IFRS).
  27. Maintain confidentiality of all financial and company information.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance (hospitality industry preferred).
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Accurate, MYOB, Xero, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high integrity.
  • Good understanding of taxation and financial reporting standards.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
