About Us
PT OCI Group Asia is a dynamic firm specializing in government supply chain procurement, project financing, and large-scale infrastructure development. We collaborate with ministries, public agencies, and international financiers to deliver efficient, transparent, and impactful public sector projects.
Our work covers the full project lifecycle—from strategy and procurement design to contract management and financing—ensuring that every government investment achieves maximum value and sustainable outcomes.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and resilient Government Liaison Officer to serve as the central link between the firm and government stakeholders. The successful candidate will manage relationships across ministries and agencies, facilitate communication and approvals, and ensure compliance with procurement and financing frameworks for major infrastructure projects.
This is a high-intensity, deadline-driven role requiring exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and political acumen. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, demonstrates sound judgment, and is committed to achieving results in complex and fast-moving environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, regulators, and public institutions.
• Government Relations: Serve as the firm's representative in all official communications, ensuring alignment with project and policy objectives.
• Policy & Compliance: Monitor and interpret government policies, procurement laws, and public finance regulations relevant to ongoing and future projects.
• Project Facilitation: Coordinate interactions between government partners, internal project teams, and financiers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Strategic Advisory: Provide insights on government priorities, procurement pipelines, and emerging opportunities.
• Representation: Attend and represent the firm in government meetings, briefings, and negotiations.
• Reporting: Prepare briefings, progress updates, and relationship management reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in government relations, public procurement, or liaison work—preferably within consulting, finance, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of public procurement systems, PPPs, and government financial operations.
• Proven ability to navigate complex bureaucracies and influence decision-making at senior levels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• If you are looking for a typical 9–5 routine job, this position is not for you. The role demands flexibility, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset.
Why Join Us
• Opportunity to work on transformative government projects with real national impact.
• Exposure to high-level decision-making in public procurement and infrastructure finance.
• Dynamic, mission-driven team culture focused on excellence and delivery.
• Competitive compensation package with performance-based rewards.
