About us

OTO (automotive financing service marketplace) is a part of CarDekho SEA (India's biggest digital automotive solutions provider). OTO operates the business across Indonesia and initially focuses on new car dealerships and expanding the new business unit for used car financing, re-financing, dealer inventory funding, multifinancing, and auto insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review third-party invoices from a taxation perspective.
  • Maintain all tax correspondence (letters) and documentation.
  • Monitor outstanding tax payables (tax collection letters) and ensure timely payment to the State Treasury.
  • Oversee tax compliance monitoring for each entity.
  • Prepare overbooking requests when necessary.
  • Coordinate with accounting and banking teams regarding monthly tax payments and reporting.
  • Prepare and calculate the monthly Withholding Tax (WHT).
  • Generate ID Billing for monthly WHT underpayment prior to the 15th of the following month.
  • Prepare and file monthly WHT returns prior to the 20th of the following month.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations between WHT objects per Financial Statement (FS) versus tax returns.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations between WHT payable per FS versus tax returns.
  • Maintain WHT payment slips and return submission proof on a monthly basis.
  • Distribute WHT slips to counterparties on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tax-related roles, including tax audits, compliance, and reporting.
  • Brevet A & B certification preferred.
  • Experience in a tax consulting firm is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (corporate and individual income tax, withholding tax, and reporting procedures).
  • Proficient in operating CoreTax systems.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
