About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Atlas Copco as a Sales Engineer. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales and growth strategies in the Jakarta region. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to help them achieve their business objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers
  2. Identifying new sales opportunities and generating leads through proactive outreach and networking
  3. Assessing customer requirements and providing expert technical advice and recommendations on Atlas Copco's products and services
  4. Preparing detailed proposals and quotations, and effectively communicating the value proposition to customers
  5. Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets
  6. Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
  7. Staying up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the industry

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sales, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector
  3. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and explain complex products and solutions
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers
  5. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  7. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
