This position is not only about number-crunching role, but responsible to oversee and provide insight on overall Bank's financial figures which derive from various business lines to coordinate  with, even with the CFO. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of financial reports for regulators, internal management, and shareholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee and coordinate the monthly financial closing process, ensuring proper transaction recording and alignment across teams.
  • Manage proper implementation of accounting policies in accordance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and business needs.
  • Supervise and guide the preparation of financial statements, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Act as the primary liaison with auditors, regulators, and other external stakeholders, representing the finance/accounting function.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance/accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • Perform and oversee ad-hoc tasks assigned by senior management.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in related fields (background from a reputable accounting firm and/or bank is a strong plus).
  • Bachelor degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Banking-related.
  • In depth knowledge of accounting standards (especially PSAK 71 & 73) and OJK regulation related to banking (Pedoman Antasena, Kualitas Aset, Buku Panduan Akuntansi Perbankan, etc.).
  • Knowledgeable in banking transactions/ activities, including journal entries & financial statements preparation.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and keen on continuous learning and development.
  • Expert in operating Microsoft office especially Excel function for data processing.
