About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Freight Forwarding Specialist to join the dynamic team at PT. CJ Logistics Indonesia. As a full-time role based in North Jakarta, Jakarta, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's growth by securing new business opportunities and providing customized logistics solutions across air, ocean, and land freight services. This role requires strong and a proven track record in Freight Forwarding sales.

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Identifying and pursuing new sales leads within the freight forwarding and logistics industry
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on the most efficient and cost-effective freight forwarding solutions
  • Preparing and presenting compelling sales proposals and pitches
  • Collaborating closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new business growth opportunities
  • Contributing to the development of sales strategies and initiatives

Requirements :

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding processes, regulations, and best practices
  • Proven track record of successfully generating new business and achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
