About the role

As a Freight Forwarder Sales Staff at PT Hogo Shipping Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales success. This full-time position is based in East Jakarta, Jakarta, and will involve engaging with clients to secure freight forwarding business. Your strategic approach and excellent sales skills will be key to achieving the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the freight forwarding industry
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored freight forwarding solutions
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to maintain high client satisfaction
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and growth initiatives

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
  • Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Adaptable to changes in the industry and a fast-paced work environment
