As a
Expansion Strategy Lead
, you'll help shape where and how our business grows next. You'll turn data, market signals, and on-ground insights into smart expansion decisions—both for delivery and offline outlets. You'll work across teams, analyze opportunities, run scenario models, and ensure every new outlet or city entry is backed by clear logic and strong fundamentals. In this role, you'll bring order to ambiguity, translate numbers into action, and help the company expand with precision and confidence.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and prioritize expansion opportunities using profitability, payback period, and competitive insights.
  • Recommend new delivery and offline locations with clear reasoning supported by data, customer behavior, and market realities.
  • Conduct post-mortems on new outlets, assessing revenue achievement, profitability, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assess delivery radius overlaps and potential cannibalization risks, providing mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate expansion planning across Ops, Marketing, Finance, Tech, and other key teams to ensure smooth market entry.
  • Build structured frameworks for qualitative research—objectives, methodology, hypotheses, and action steps.
  • Maintain and update Scribblemaps and geographic datasets with high accuracy.
  • Run basic SQL queries to support reporting and insights from BigQuery.
  • Support development of integrated reporting systems combining delivery, marketing, funnel, and financial data.
  • Build scenario models, projections, and automated dashboards using Google Sheets / Data Studio.
  • Facilitate discussions, guide next steps, and keep stakeholders aligned across campaigns and timelines.
  • Contribute to the growth of junior team members through structured feedback, coaching, and shared learning.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in expansion strategy, business strategy, consulting, or a related analytical role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into decisions.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets / Data Studio and basic SQL (SELECT, FROM, WHERE, ORDER BY).
  • Skilled in structuring problems, building hypotheses, and presenting clear recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive clarity, alignment, and accountability.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in F&B, retail, or location-based strategy is an advantage.
