Sales Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets for Modern Trade (supermarkets, hypermarkets, e-commerce) or General Trade (local stores, beauty salons, pharmacies).
- Ensure consistent sales growth and penetration in assigned territories through strategic planning and account management.
- Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and ensure achievement of sales KPIs (revenue, volume, market share).
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Representatives/Promoters to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, share updates, and address challenges.
- Identify training needs for the team and collaborate with training departments to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in both Modern Trade and General Trade.
- Negotiate and finalize trade agreements, promotions, and in-store activations with buyers and store managers.
- Ensure effective merchandising, stock availability, and shelf visibility for all products in the assigned area.
Market Analysis
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for enhancing product portfolios or strategies.
- Gather feedback from customers and relay it to the marketing or product development teams.
Operational Management
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and stock replenishment.
- Ensure adherence to trade marketing guidelines, promotional campaigns, and brand standards at retail points.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient territory and customer management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in sales supervision within the beauty, FMCG, or retail industry.
- Proven track record in managing Modern Trade or General Trade sales channels.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM or sales management software.
