Job Description Summary

The Internal Transport Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the operational activities of heavy equipment and dump trucks to ensure efficient, safe, and timely support for field operations. This role oversees equipment scheduling, performance monitoring, maintenance coordination, operational reporting, and supports continuous improvement for operational excellence.

Job Description :

  • Creating and managing the machine operation schedule (excavators, vibrators and graders) and dump truck operations.
  • Operational monitoring of the tool berta and dumpt truck.
  • Monitoring of heavy equipment vehicle performance: availability, utilization, and efficiency of fuel consumption.
  • Monitoring of dump truck vehicle performance: availability, utilization, and efficiency of fuel consumption and tire usage.
  • Coordinate with related sections (surfacing, administration, askep, etc.) for operational schedules and vehicle maintenance.
  • Make requests for spare parts and equipment needed.
  • Create surfacing operational report.
  • Coordinate with related parties for technical and operational work arrangements.
  • Provide feedback and feedback to the boss on internal / external conditions of the company.
  • Create and manage regular work / project schedules.
  • Evaluate performance appraisals and provide training proposals for individual career development.
  • Documenting related work documents.

Job requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Transportation Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in heavy equipment operations, transport management, or plantation/industrial operations.

  • Strong understanding of heavy equipment and dump truck operations, including performance metrics (availability, utilization, fuel efficiency).

  • Good knowledge of maintenance planning and spare parts management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willing to work in remote site locations.
