Responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and evaluating all new and existing product development activities and determining product standards and specifications so that targets can be achieved optimally in accordance with the established goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in culinary R&D, menu development, or as a Head/Sous Chef with creative focus.
- Strong knowledge of flavor pairing, food trends, and modern cooking techniques.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and consistency.
- Basic English for kitchen communication and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with chefs and management teams.
- Understanding of food cost control, safety, and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and refine innovative recipes that align with Growell brand identity and culinary standards (Western, Asian, & Healthy Food).
- Research market and food trends to create dishes that are both creative and commercially viable.
- Standardize recipes, portioning, and presentation to ensure consistency across outlets.
- Collaborate with BOD, marketing teams and kitchen teams to implement new menu items and improve existing ones.
- Evaluate ingredient quality, cost efficiency, and supplier performance.
- Conduct tasting sessions and gather feedback for continuous product improvement.
