The Mission

Most education apps are boring. They look like digital textbooks and talk like teachers.

Fokuslah is different. We built an AI that actually helps teenagers find out why they are stuck on a math problem so they can stop wasting time studying the wrong things. We have paying users in Malaysia and we're growing fast.

Now, we need a Content Lead who knows how to talk to teens without sounding like a "cringe" adult.

The Role

You'll start by leading our content strategy for Malaysian teens on TikTok and IG. Once you've figured out the winning formula, you'll lead our launch into Indonesia.

This isn't a corporate "manager" job. You'll work directly with the founders to build our brand voice from the ground up.

What you'll actually do:

  • Find the Vibe: We don't have a brand manual. You'll decide how Fokuslah talks, looks, and jokes with students.
  • Test Ideas: You'll try different hooks and styles every week. If a video gets views and app downloads, we do more of it. If it flops, we move on.
  • Direct the Creators: You'll work with our local Malaysian team. You write the scripts, they shoot the videos, and you make sure the final version is perfect.
  • Understand Teens: You need to stay on top of what Malaysian (and later Indonesian) teens actually care about. What makes them laugh? What makes them stressed?

Who we're looking for:

  • Excellent English: You'll be talking to the founders and the Malaysian team every day. You need to be able to write sharp, clear scripts in English.
  • Social Media Experience: You've grown a brand's TikTok or IG before. You know how to stop someone from scrolling past a video.
  • Teen Culture Expert: You know how to reach 16-year-olds. You understand that they value being authentic more than being "polished."
  • Self-Starter: You don't need someone to tell you what to do every hour. You're happy to grab a phone, write a script, and just make things happen.
