Legal and Contract Manager

On behalf of our client, one of the largest global engineering and construction companies, and we are currently seeking a Legal & Contract Manager with key Requirements as follows:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in any field. Very good command of spoken and written Mandarin (HSK 5/6) and English (equivalent to B2 level or above).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Hard-working and passionate about learning.
  • Prompt response to clients and team members and ready to work overtime if required.

Responsibilities : 

  • Drafting and reviewing documents for the market development department, investment department, and legal-related corporate documents.
  • Handling permits and legal requirements for the company's operations, such as business licenses, engineering service qualifications, technical personnel certificates, and ISO certifications.
  • Managing relationships with government departments like Public Works People's Housing Department, Investment Coordinating Committee, and Construction Services Supervision Agency.
  • Maintaining essential company documents and updating them as needed.
  • Monitoring and analyzing regulations impacting company operations in areas like engineering, foreign investment, and labor.
  • Assisting other departments with legal issues.
  • Supporting the Indonesian compliance officer in various compliance tasks, including due diligence, bidding, and contract compliance (excluding specific areas like gifts, donations, cash payments, and procurement).
  • Overseeing the internal procedure initiation for contract approvals.
  • Taking charge of negotiations when required.
