We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Legal to lead and manage all legal activities for our entities in Indonesia and Singapore. This role is critical for providing strategic guidance, managing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance across diverse business functions. This role will act as a trusted advisor to senior management, supporting our business operations in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support business objectives while minimizing risk.
  • Provide counsel on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues, including corporate governance, M&A, commercial contracts, employment law, and intellectual property.
  • Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations in Indonesia and Singapore, including corporate, tax, and employment laws.
  • Develop and maintain policies for regulatory compliance, corporate governance, data privacy, and anti-bribery/corruption.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, joint ventures, and distribution agreements.
  • Manage litigation and dispute resolution proceedings, working with external counsel as needed.
  • Serve as a primary legal point of contact for senior management and cross-functional stakeholders in both Indonesia and Singapore.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited university; a Master's or LL.M is a plus.
  • Admitted to practice law in Indonesia.
  • 10+ years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role within a multinational corporation or top-tier law firm.
  • Expertise in corporate law, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance across Indonesia and Singapore.
  • Strong business acumen, with a track record of advising on commercial and operational legal matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal projects and provide strategic legal guidance to senior executives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
