Job Description

Legal Advisory
  • Provide expert legal advice to the companys management on various legal issues, including contracts, intellectual property, employment, compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant.
Contract Management
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to safeguard the companys interests.
  • Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and risks are mitigated.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Develop and implement policies to ensure organizational compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and recommend strategies for mitigation.

Dispute Resolution

  • Handle legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration cases in collaboration with external counsel when necessary.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, ensuring effective and efficient resolution.
Corporate Governance
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards, including board resolutions and shareholder meetings.
  • Maintain records of all corporate documents and filings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
  • Professional Certification [If applicable, mention any certifications like bar membership, corporate law specialization, etc
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal managerial or advisory role.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, employment law, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and software
