Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Legal Manager to oversee legal aspects of lease agreements, offering letters, and related documents for new and existing stores. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and managing legal processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks, while providing expert legal support to the Business Development Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review lease agreements or offering letters for new store openings or renewals of existing stores, including verifying legal documents of owners (private or company) and premises (such as land certificates and building permits).
  • Provide legal opinions to the Business Development Division on issues related to agreements and conduct specialized legal research for unique conditions.
  • Manage the signature process by rechecking documents against the latest reviews, ensuring all required submissions from the PIC/Business Development team are complete, distributing signed documents to relevant teams, and archiving all finalized documents.
  • Create and update lists of requests for drafting, reviewing, and processing signatures on offering letters or lease agreements.
  • Handle miscellaneous legal tasks, such as processing land certificates, consulting with government authorities on regulations, and addressing corporate legal matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in law (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and expertise in legal research.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory) and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably from a law firm background.
