The candidate will provide comprehensive legal support across the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, assisting KPMG Advisory's Legal Director in managing litigation matters, and advising internal stakeholders on legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to business units on contractual and regulatory matters.
  • Assisting Legal Director in managing and overseeing litigation cases (when applicable), including liaising with external counsel and monitoring case progress.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws relevant to the company's operations.
  • Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to minimize risk.
  • Support corporate governance and assist in company secretarial matters when required.
  • Maintain accurate legal documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives while safeguarding legal interests.

Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Law (SH) from reputable Indonesian university; Peradi license/certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    8–10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate or commercial law.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong expertise in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven exposure to managing litigation and working with external counsel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
