Position Overview:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who love to cook Japanese food and understand the basics of Japanese recipe principles. Whether you're a seasoned chef or just starting out, if you have a passion for creating delightful dishes, we want to hear from you A special focus will be given to those who can craft desserts and light, bite-sized pairings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create a seasonal pairing menu that complements our tea offerings, focusing on both savory and sweet options.
  • Train bar back staff in plating techniques and presentation standards.
  • Establish and uphold standard operating procedures (SOP) for the food department.
  • Collaborate with the team to grow and develop the food department, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for Japanese cuisine and culinary arts.
  • Understanding of basic Japanese cooking principles and techniques.
  • Experience in creating desserts or light bites is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Eagerness to learn and improve through ongoing training.
  • Indonesian / KITAS holder (we can provide KITAS).
