Head Pastry Chef

Are you passionate about pastries, desserts, and all things dough? We're looking for a creative, skilled, and hands-on Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry section — from bread and viennoiseries to show-stopping cakes and plated desserts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily production of cakes, breads, pastries, and desserts.
• Develop new menu items for the café, including seasonal or signature creations.
• Ensure all products meet consistent taste, texture, and presentation standards.
• Supervise, train, and manage the pastry/bakery team.
• Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost control for pastry department.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with the executive chef and café/restaurant owner on new launches.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in both pastry and bread production.
• Strong in artisan breads, viennoiserie, cakes, and plated desserts.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or head pastry chef role.
• Experience with recipe costing, inventory, and team supervision.
• Passion for innovation and high attention to detail.
• Good time management and team leadership skills.
• Creative, organized, and quality-focused.
• Formal culinary or pastry education is a plus.
