About the role:

The
O&M Manager for Distributed Generation
is the technical and operational anchor for a diverse, high-volume portfolio of solar PV assets. Unlike traditional utility-scale operations, this role requires a specialized approach to managing numerous distributed C&I rooftop sites across a wide geographic footprint. You will leverage advanced digital monitoring platforms and lead a network of local service providers to ensure maximum uptime, safety, and long-term asset integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Operational Excellence & Asset Reliability

• Performance Governance:
  Drive the monitoring and analysis of critical fleet-wide KPIs, including Performance Ratio (PR), Technical Availability, Uptime, and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
• Remote Fleet Surveillance:
  Utilize digital monitoring platforms to oversee daily performance, proactively identifying underperforming assets and implementing swift corrective strategies.
• Technical Incident Leadership:
  Act as the escalation point for complex technical failures, coordinating seamless resolutions between remote monitoring teams, country managers, and external technical partners.

B. Strategic Contractor & Vendor Management

• Network Management:
  Expertly select, onboard, and manage a robust network of local O&M contractors, ensuring all preventive and corrective maintenance aligns with the contractual Scope of Work (SoW).
• Commercial Compliance:
  Rigorously enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and take ownership of technical warranty claims with key equipment manufacturers (Inverters, Modules, etc.).
• Optimized Procurement:
  Lead the strategic procurement of critical spare parts and specialized technical services to drastically minimize asset downtime.

C. HSE Leadership & Quality Assurance

• Safety Culture:
  Serve as a champion for the company's "Golden Rules" for safety, ensuring a "Zero Fatality" environment across all distributed sites.
• Technical Auditing:
  Execute periodic site inspections and rigorous Quality Control (QC) audits to verify that all maintenance activities adhere to global technical and safety standards.
• Compliance Documentation:
  Maintain meticulous records of maintenance reports, safety logs, and environmental compliance within the corporate asset management framework.

D. Digitalization & Performance Reporting

• CMMS Optimization: Ensure absolute data integrity and comprehensive logging of all maintenance cycles within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Executive Reporting: Deliver insightful monthly performance dossiers to senior leadership, bridging technical data with financial outcomes (Energy Yield vs. Budget).
• Predictive Innovation: Drive the evolution of digital tools, focusing on predictive maintenance modeling and automated reporting efficiencies.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

• Academic Foundation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related high-technical discipline.
• Industry Tenure: Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in Solar PV O&M. Direct experience in Distributed Generation (DG) or C&I rooftop portfolios is highly preferred.
• Geographic Versatility: Proven success in managing multi-country contractor networks across diverse jurisdictions and professional cultures.

Technical Expertise

• Solar Systems: Advanced understanding of Solar PV architecture, including Inverters, LV/MV systems, and SCADA/Monitoring logic.
• Analytical Tools: High proficiency in performance analysis software (e.g., PVSyst, Meteocontrol, GPM, or similar enterprise platforms).
• Safety Standards: Expert knowledge of international electrical safety regulations and specialized rooftop operational protocols.

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Transverse Leadership: Exceptional ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in a "dotted-line" management structure.
• Execution Mindset: A hands-on, solution-oriented approach to resolving complex logistical and technical bottlenecks.
• Communication: Absolute fluency in English is required; proficiency in regional local languages is considered a significant strategic advantage.
