Sales Engineer Solar PV Renewable Energy

Responsibilities:
- Understand customer requirements, provide technical product demonstrations, and assist in crafting solutions that meet their needs related to Microgrid (BESS).
- Partner with sales managers and account executives to develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and new markets.
- Develop and present tailored solutions based on customer requirements for simple issues and coordinate with technical expertise to provide solution for complex issues
- Participate in customer meetings, provide technical guidance, and create compelling presentations and proposals
- Stay updated with product developments and industry trends to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies and products to provide accurate and informed support.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement, and work with relevant teams to address these issues.
- Prepare and present regular reports on support activities, team performance, and customer satisfaction to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical requirements, and sales activities in C4C systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering - Electrical)
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a sales engineering role or related field, with a strong background in Renewable Energy Sector
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, ideally with a track record of closing large deals or managing significant accounts in the renewable energy field.
- Having experience on selling solar pv products such as solar cable, inverter, panel, mounting and BESS.
- Experience in managing sales processes, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and post-sales support
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies and plans to achieve business objectives
- Proven ability to manage and grow key accounts, including developing strategic account plans and maintaining strong client relationships
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, managing large sales deals, and contributing to business growth
