About the role

Reporting directly to the Director, the candidate will work closely with the management team to lead and manage all aspects of business. The General Manager ensures compliance with statutory laws and regulations as well as all policies and procedures established. He is responsible for creating an environment and culture that enables the business to fulfils its mission by meeting and exceeding its goals and being accountable for the employee performance and business performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the overall operations and resources encompassing production, maintenance, sales & marketing, quality control, logistics, human resources, purchasing, budgeting & cost control
  • To be responsible for the overall plant operations in Indonesia.
  • To formulate and implement strategic business plans to meet and exceed Company's sales/profit targets and customers' requirements
  • To plan and allocate resources to ensure optimal efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • To lead and manage the operation to meet and achieve the targeted KPIs
  • To grow sales volume and profitability from existing and new customers
  • To provide regular comprehensive sales reports and analysis
  • To liaise with the local government authorities
  • To ensure that the operations adheres to compliance requirements, both local and international
  • To ensure that all operational activities are carried out professionally, ethically and in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering, preferably in Polymer, Chemical, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering, with experience in the plastics manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in relevant manufacturing industry with at least 10 years' experience at managerial level
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership skills and business acumen
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • To be based in Indonesia
