for the position of
Finance & Accounting Manager
. The position will be based in
Medan, Indonesia
.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Reporting directly to the
    Hospital CEO
    , with a
    dotted line to the Financial Controller
    .
  • Lead and manage a team of 6 direct reports and a total headcount of approximately 42–43 staff, covering Finance (Front Office and Back Office), Purchasing (General and Pharmacy Store), and IT.
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of financial operations, including
    journal entries, reconciliations, billing, and doctor fee processing
    .
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities to support hospital operations.
  • Oversee cash flow management, vendor payments, and revenue collection to maintain financial stability.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion of statutory requirements.
  • Review purchasing and inventory processes to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide analytical insights and financial advice to the management team to support strategic decisions.
  • Ensure IT systems effectively support financial reporting and day-to-day operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in
    Accounting or Finance
    .
  • Minimum
    3–5 years of experience
    as a
    Finance & Accounting Manager
    , preferably in the
    healthcare or service industry
    .
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and taxation.
  • Brevet A & B certification is mandatory
    ; CPA or
    Chartered Accountant (CA)
    qualification is an advantage.
  • Proficient in
    Microsoft Office
    and familiar with accounting systems.
  • Strong command of
    English
    , both oral and written.
  • Detail-oriented, honest, disciplined, and systematic in work approach.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership with the ability to manage end-to-end financial operations, including cashiering and billing processes.
