Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proven experience in Joint Ventures (JV) and corporate transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Law degree and professional certification (advantageous).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the corporate legal team, ensuring effective performance and development.
  • Provide legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Handle legal aspects of Joint Ventures (JV), mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance industry regulations and liaise with regulatory bodies.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across internal departments and external partners.
  • Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and best practices.
