About the role 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EB Support Intern to join our Operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the team's daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. You will gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of insurtech, assisting with vital administrative tasks, claim & data administration, and client service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate who is eager to learn about the insurance industry and contribute to a high-growth technology company.

Job Responsibility 

1. Claims & Data Administration

  • Assist in tracking and monitoring claim statuses from agencies, corporates, and brokerages to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of claim data and ensure all necessary documentation is filed correctly.

2. Client Service & Communication Support

  • Support in responding to administrative queries from clients and third parties to ensure swift turnaround times.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and following up on action items with insurers and partners.
  • Help triage incoming emails and redirect complex issues while handling basic inquiries.

3. Operational Support (Onboarding & Distribution)

  • Manage the logistical distribution of physical and digital assets, including policy documents and member health cards.
  • Track the delivery status of documents to clients and generate delivery reports.
  • Assist in the administrative process of policy endorsements (member additions/deletions) by coordinating with the insurer.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling large volumes of data.
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Basic knowledge of finance or audit processes is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or other data management tools.
  • Flexible and adaptable to support ad hoc requests in a dynamic environment.
