Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Engineer on a project located in Umalas, Bali.

IMPORTANT: We are looking strictly for candidates with proven experience in complex hotel or apartment complex construction in Bali or Asia.

Applications from candidates without local Bali/Asia construction experience WILL NOT be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, review, and control the implementation of complex MEP systems and infrastructure works, including testing, commissioning, and handover.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards.
  • Oversee daily site operations, monitor progress, and ensure completion on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Identify and mitigate risks or design inconsistencies, propose corrective actions, and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders.
  • Supervise and guide construction teams to ensure effective execution of works and adherence to schedules.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, progress reports, and quality control records for management and client review.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel or apartment complex construction in Bali or Asia, with strong expertise in mid- to large-scale engineering systems design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Solid understanding of construction technologies, materials, and installation methods relevant to Bali/Asia.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, or other construction management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage).
