Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design innovative menus that cater to diverse dietary needs while promoting healthy, sustainable eating.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, maintaining exceptional hygiene and safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to build a cohesive team.
  • Control food costs and inventory management, minimizing waste while ensuring quality and freshness of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with management to plan special events, catering, and promotional food offerings that elevate our brand experience.
  • Stay up to date with culinary trends, incorporating new techniques and ingredients to keep our menus fresh and exciting.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role in a high-volume kitchen (5+ years preferred).
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts or relevant degree.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proficient in menu development and culinary techniques.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Passion for sustainability and sourcing local ingredients where possible.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Creativity and innovation in the kitchen, with a commitment to excellence.
