In this role, you will lead and orchestrate end-to-end retail technology projects—ensuring every requirement, sprint, build, and release runs on schedule. You will manage cross-functional teams, drive sprint discipline, and ensure all deployments meet quality and readiness standards.

Responsibilities
:

Project & Development Execution

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery with strict control over milestones, development schedules, and release timelines.
  • Build and manage project plans covering requirements, design, development, QA, UAT, and deployment phases.
  • Manage sprint calendars, backlog grooming, iteration goals, and development capacity planning.
  • Break down business and technical requirements into clear and actionable development tasks.

Timeline & Risk Management

  • Monitor development progress closely, identify risks early, and execute mitigation or recovery plans.
  • Run structured stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to maintain alignment and stable team velocity.
  • Evaluate change requests thoroughly, ensuring full visibility into timeline and resource impact.

Cross-functional & Vendor Coordination

  • Own and manage the release calendar, including cutovers, downtime windows, rollouts, and integration checkpoints.
  • Coordinate with internal and external development teams to ensure schedules and deliverables remain aligned.

Quality & Governance

  • Oversee SIT, UAT, regression testing, and final deployment readiness.
  • Ensure project documentation—requirements, technical specs, test cases, and release notes—is complete and audit-ready.
  • Track and report performance metrics such as sprint velocity, defect leakage, and schedule variance.

Qualifications
:

  • 5–8 years
    of proven experience as an IT Project Manager managing software development lifecycle and sprint-based delivery.
  • Retail technology background is mandatory
    (e.g., POS, ERP, WMS, OMS, loyalty systems, store mobility, e-commerce).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Hybrid models, dev–QA workflows, and release management.
  • Proficiency in project tools such as
    Jira, Taiga, MS Project
    , or the equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver multi-team, multi-dependency projects
    on schedule
    .
