Sales & Growth Manager – Build up our sales department in Indonesia

Who We Are The Puzzlers is a strategic brand agency which transforms B2B German mid-sized companies into standout brands through thoughtful business, design and development processes. We partner with companies across manufacturing, technology and service providers who care about their impact as much as their growth. Founded in 2020 in Berlin, Germany we've expanded to Bali in 2021 and have grown to a team of 21 talented people who care about quality work.

Your Role

As our Sales & Growth Manager, you'll:

  1. Research Potential Leads: Discover interesting companies in Indonesia that fit our 'ideal customer profile' and develop outreach campaigns to attract their attention.
  2. Perform Outreach Campaigns: Bring your crafted campaigns to live and convert potential leads into qualified leads who want to learn more about our branding services.
  3. Build Client Relationships: Become a trusted partner to our clients, understanding their business goals and ensuring our work delivers real value.
  4. Manage Projects: Coordinate between clients and our internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly and meet expectations.
  5. Translate Client Needs: Turn business challenges into clear briefs that our creative and technical teams can execute on.
  6. Present Solutions: Confidently explain our strategic thinking and creative concepts to clients.
  7. Maintain Long-term Partnerships: Nurture ongoing relationships with clients beyond initial projects, identifying new opportunities to support their growth.

Your Profile 

We're looking for a sales representative with excellent communication skills and business and branding understanding. In particular, you should have:

Essential Skills:

  1. 5+ years of experience in sales (including research, developing and performing cold outreach) in the advertising, design or marketing industry.
  2. Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with business owners and leadership teams.
  3. Good understanding about 'Brand Identity' and why it matters for businesses.
  4. Ability to understand client needs and convince them how 'Branding' can solve business challenges.
  5. Strong listening skills and empathy for client challenges.
  6. Strong self motivation to strive for great outcome

Communication Skills:

  1. Excellent written and verbal English communication
  2. Confidence in presenting to clients and leading meetings
  3. Ability to explain complex concepts in accessible, relevant terms
  4. Professional demeanor that inspires trust

Sales:

  1. Experience in identifying and approaching potential clients
  2. Understanding of how to qualify leads and focus on the right opportunities
  3. Ability to articulate our unique value proposition to different audiences
  4. Comfort with networking and relationship-building activities

Project Coordination:

  1. Experience managing client expectations and project timelines
  2. Ability to collaborate effectively with creative and technical teams
  3. Organized approach to tracking project details and deliverables
  4. Problem-solving skills when challenges arise
