Merchant Acquisition Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new merchants in categories such as Spas, Beauty Clinics, and Fitness Centers.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process — from prospecting, pitching, negotiating, to closing deals.
  • Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with business owners to ensure satisfaction and engagement.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and after-sales support to maximize merchant retention.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, leads, and merchant data using internal systems.
  • Represent Grab professionally and ensure positive brand perception in every merchant interaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum D3 (Diploma) from any major.
  • Minimum 6 months – 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (field sales preferred).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to build rapport easily with business owners.
  • Results-oriented and motivated to achieve or exceed acquisition targets.
  • Willing to work in the field (80% mobility).
  • Owns a personal vehicle (motorcycle) and holds an active driver's license (SIM C).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in onboarding or managing merchants for digital platforms (e.g., Gojek, ShopeeFood, Traveloka, Fave, etc.).
  • Understanding of SME operations in beauty, wellness, or fitness industries.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or sales tracking systems.
