Job description :

· Provide general legal support and counsel to the company;

· Provide day to day support on drafting, reviewing and negotiating various range of commercial contracts, such as Joint Venture Agreement, License Agreement, Contractor Agreement, Vendor Agreement, Lease Agreement, Distributions Agreement; Land Lord Agreement, NDA, MOU, LOI, Company Licensing, etc;

· Accustomed to handling and understanding licensing in various region in Indonesia including and not limited to negotiate with authorize body related to local taxes where company operates.

· Prepare template of various common contracts including their Mandarin / English translations;

· Provide advice and ensuring compliance with industry specific laws;

· Coordinating with other departments for legal advice and support of various range of commercial contracts, as required;

· Keep abreast of new laws and legislation which may have an impact on the company's business and operation.

· Implement and manage effective legal & compliance program

· This includes reviewing relevant company policies and governance frameworks as well as processes which are always align with current regulations

· Establish and manage strong & effective relationships with relevant regulatory bodies, particularly OJK & Bappebti

· Instill a compliance-first decision-making and continuous improvement mentality

· Oversee regulatory & relevant management reporting

· Provide advice on business models and structures which are fully compliant with current regulations as the company expands into new products

· Report back to business functions on current regulatory risk and compliance performance through regular reviews, highlighting or escalating areas of concern and contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation

· Evaluate colleagues' knowledge and educate them on work-related laws and regulations

· Resolve employee concerns about legal & compliance

Requirement :

· Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Law or equivalent.

· At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

· Preferably Supervisor / Officer specializing in industry retail, Nickel or equivalent.

· Have a good knowledge and practice in Legal affairs, business law, drafting, Legal Review, and Dispute Settlementachelor's degree in Law

· Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships

· Great negotiation and project management skills

· Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin

· Agile and able to thrive in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment

· Experience in a startup environment preferred
