About the role

As a Plant Engineer (Supervisor Level) at Our Company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility in KIM-1 Medan, North Sumatra. This full-time position will see you overseeing the electrical and electronic engineering aspects of our plant, contributing to the overall productivity and output of our operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the electrical and electronic engineering team
  2. Ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  3. Identifying and implementing improvements to enhance the reliability, efficiency and safety of plant operations
  4. Providing technical support and guidance to production and maintenance teams
  5. Monitoring and analysing plant performance data to identify and resolve issues
  6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and electronic engineering regulations and standards
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Plant Engineer or in a similar supervisory role within the manufacturing industry
  3. Demonstrable expertise in electrical and electronic system design, installation, and troubleshooting
  4. Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  5. Excellent project management and team leadership abilities
  6. Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies
  7. Working knowledge of industrial automation and control systems
  8. Familiarity with electrical and electronic engineering regulations and standards
