Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior IT Project Manager (Banking) based in Jakarta. The Junior IT Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and delivery of banking-related IT projects. Daily tasks include coordinating with stakeholders, monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving issues, preparing project documentation, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. The role involves frequent communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met effectively.

Qualifications

● Experience:

○ Aminimum of 1-3 years of direct project management experience, preferably

within the banking or financial services industry.

○ Demonstrable experience managing core banking system implementation or

enhancement projects is required.

○ Experience with the Temenos platform is a significant advantage.

● Skills and Knowledge:

○ Project Management: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies

(e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and best practices.

○ Core Banking Domain: A solid understanding of core banking modules and

processes (e.g., Customer, Accounts, Deposits, Lending, Payments).

○ Tools: Proficiency with project management software such as Jira, Confluence,

and MS Project.

○ Financial Acumen: Experience with project budget management and financial

reporting.

● Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify roadblocks and

develop effective solutions to keep projects on track.

Educational Background and Certifications

● Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information

Technology, or a related field.

● Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is a strong

plus.
