We are looking for an experienced
Senior Network Engineer

to support our infrastructure and lead key network initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is highly skilled in network operations, security, and project execution, including upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure to ensure high availability and stability.
  • Configure, operate, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IDS/IPS.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure SLA compliance using industry-standard monitoring tools.
  • Assess network requirements and provide technical recommendations to improve capacity, security, and efficiency.
  • Manage and enhance network security including VPN, ACL, segmentation, and perimeter protection.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades or migrations with comprehensive risk assessments, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
  • Respond promptly to network issues or security incidents to minimize downtime and operational impact.
  • Conduct incident and root cause analysis, delivering long-term corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for implementation and issue resolution.
  • Perform capacity planning and contribute to long-term network architecture improvements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Minimum
    5 years of experience

as a Network Engineer or similar senior-level role.
- Previous experience in
Financial Services Industry, Banking or Insurance Industry

is a plus.
- CCNP certification is mandatory

; advanced certifications (CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, NSE, etc.) are a strong plus.
- Proficiency with network devices (Cisco, Mikrotik, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Strong expertise in routing & switching (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLAN, STP, QoS, and related protocols.
- Solid experience in network security: firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, NAC, segmentation.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, or similar.
- Understanding of redundancy, high availability, failover, and load balancing concepts.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and incident response capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Willing to work under a 6-month contract arrangement.
