Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized
Technical Project Manager (TPM)
to oversee and drive the successful delivery of complex technical projects involving our
Bank and Corporate Clients
and key
Partners
(e.g., core banking solution providers).

The ideal candidate will be a technical leader and a communication bridge, ensuring seamless coordination between internal engineering teams, external client technology teams, and third-party vendors. A strong focus on detailed technical documentation, structured project management, and meticulous change control is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

• End-to-End Project Ownership:
  Lead technical projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure, ensuring all deliverables meet scope, timeline, and quality targets.
• International Cross-Functional Coordination:
  Act as the primary liaison and coordinator between our development/product teams in Korea HQ, client IT teams (Banks/Corporates), and external technology partners (e.g., core banking system providers).
• Schedule Management:
  Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules and milestones, proactively identifying and mitigating potential schedule risks and dependencies.
• Risk & Issue Management:
  Identify technical and non-technical risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and manage issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Documentation & Governance (Primary Focus)

• Creation of Core Project Artifacts:
  Be solely responsible for the creation, maintenance, and quality control of comprehensive technical project documentation, including but not limited to:
• Project Execution Plan

- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

- IT Operations Management (ITOM)

- Quality Assurance (QA) Scenarios and Test Plans

- Detailed Transaction Process Flows/Workflows

• Requirements Definition:
  Work directly with client and partner technical stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document specific technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Configuration & Architecture Documentation:
  Ensure technical architecture diagrams, system configurations, and integration specifications are accurately documented and kept current.
• Stakeholder Communication & Change Management
• Technical Communication:
  Actively communicate with client technical teams to understand their infrastructure, systems, technical requirements, and deployment constraints.
• Status Reporting:
  Provide clear, concise, and regular project status updates to all internal and external stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and resource needs.
• Change Request (CR) Management:
  Own the Change Request process, including documenting, assessing the technical impact and effort of changes, obtaining necessary approvals, and managing their integration into the project scope and schedule.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience:
  5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably within the
  Fintech, Banking, or Enterprise Software Integration
  domain.
• Technical Acumen:
  Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, including API integrations, system architecture, data flow, and security considerations, particularly in the banking sector.
• Project Management Expertise:
  Deep proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile/Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence).
• Documentation Mastery:
  Proven track record of creating high-quality, professional, and detailed technical documentation for complex enterprise systems (e.g., ITOM, WBS, PEP).
• Client Engagement:
  Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving:
  Proactive approach to identifying potential roadblocks and developing effective solutions under tight deadlines.
• English Proficiency:
  Professional level of English speaking/listening/writing/reading skills are a BIG plus.
