About Us :

Kimpton Bali Ubud, the lifestyle brand's long-awaited entry into Indonesia, is slated to welcome guests in early 2026. The 101-room property stretches along the Wos River within a short walk of Ubud Palace, promising travelers a serene retreat woven into central Bali's lush landscape. Parent company IHG Hotels & Resorts says the new build will combine nature-forward design with localized cultural touches, positioning the hotel as a high-style base for Ubud's art markets, temples, and terraced rice fields.

Set on a tiered site overlooking the Wos River, Kimpton Bali Ubud will integrate terraces, open-air corridors, and local stone to blur the line between indoors and outdoors. Your day-to-day:

  • Leads the commercial and operational activities of the hotel.

  • Manages recruitment, leadership, and motivation of skilled team, while prioritizing upskilling and performance management.

  • Leads strategic initiatives for enhancing commercial performance with enterprise systems.

  • Emphasizes guest relations and external partnerships with clients, officials, industry representatives, suppliers, and communities.

  • Drive F&B revenue to achieve ROI.

What we need from you:

  • Experienced General Manager with a strong background in luxury hospitality, particularly with knowledge of Kimpton and IHG Brands.

  • Seasoned GM with IHG Experience open for expat.

  • Geographical Market knowledge - preferred knowledge of Bali area, familiarity with Indonesian culture, business practices & regulations.

  • Highly proven commercial effectiveness, capability, and understanding of enterprise systems.

  • Fluency in English & working knowledge of Bahasa will be preferred.
