About the role

As an HSE Coordinator at SKK Jewels, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our jewellery manufacturing operations in East Jakarta. This position is an opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our growing business while upholding the highest standards of workplace safety.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies, procedures, and training programs to foster a positive safety culture
  2. Conducting regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  3. Investigating and reporting on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  5. Maintaining comprehensive records and preparing necessary reports for management and regulatory authorities
  6. Promoting environmental sustainability initiatives and supporting the implementation of green practices
  7. Providing training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as an HSE or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  3. Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
  6. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
