We are looking for a QA Engineer / Software Tester based in Indonesia (preferably Bali) to support our international engineering team and ensure high-quality releases across all modules and devices.

QA Engineer / Software Tester (Full-Time) – ELEV8 Suite

We are looking for a QA Engineer / Software Tester based in Indonesia (preferably Bali) to support our international engineering team and ensure high-quality releases across all modules and devices.

Responsibilities

• Systematic testing of the ELEV8 Suite (web app, mobile app, IoT devices, integrations)

• Creating and executing test plans, test cases, and edge-case scenarios

• Performing manual tests and supporting the setup of automated testing

• Clearly documenting bugs with steps, screenshots, videos, and logs

• Running regression tests for every release

• Testing integrations (Beds24, Smoobu, Shelly, Loxone, HostBuddy, Stripe, PriceLabs, etc.)

• Checking API responses and performing basic debugging

• Testing and validating our iOS and Android apps

• Testing ELEV8 IoT hardware, including:

• Elev8 Bridge

• Presence sensors, door sensors, smart plugs, access/PIN-code systems

• Testing AI-driven features, automation flows, and translation functions

• Collaborating closely with backend, frontend, and firmware engineers

• Providing feedback to improve UX/UI

• Ensuring performance, reliability, and stability across the entire product

Required Skills

• Indonesian citizenship

• Based in Indonesia, ideally Bali

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer / Software Tester

• Solid understanding of web and mobile applications

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, Insomnia)

• Ability to describe technical issues clearly

• Basic English communication skills (reading + simple communication is sufficient)

• Highly structured, accurate, and reliable working style

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced development environmen

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated testing (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)

• Experience with IoT / Smart Home devices

• Experience in the STR industry or with tools like Beds24, Smoobu, Guesty

• Experience testing AI/ML features

• UX or usability testing experience
