About the role

As the Manager of Operations for Export and Import at PT Kamadjaja Logistics', you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's international trade and logistics operations. In this full-time position based in North Jakarta, Jakarta Raya, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the end-to-end processes related to the import and export of goods, ensuring seamless and efficient operations that support the company's strategic growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the company's import and export activities, including customs clearance, documentation, and shipment coordination
  2. Develop and implement streamlined processes and systems to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and finance, to align import and export activities with overall business goals
  4. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous operational excellence
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards related to international trade and logistics
  6. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar operations management role within the import/export and customs brokerage industry
  2. Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
  3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills to optimise operational efficiency
  4. Proficient in the use of logistics management software and data analysis tools
  5. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with internal and external partners
  6. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
