Export Import Specialist and play a key role in the company's international trade operations. In this full-time position based in Jakarta, you will be responsible for managing the import and export processes to ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods across borders.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinate the import and export of goods, including preparing all necessary documentation and liaising with customs authorities
  2. Monitor and track shipments to ensure they meet delivery deadlines and comply with relevant regulations
  3. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the import/export process
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all import and export activities
  5. Stay informed of changes in trade policies, tariffs, and regulations, and implement necessary process adjustments
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise the efficiency of import and export operations
  7. Provide guidance and training to other team members on import/export procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in an import/export or customs specialist role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
  2. Thorough understanding of international trade regulations, customs clearance processes, and shipping requirements
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues
  4. Strong communication and negotiation abilities to liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customs authorities
  5. Proficient in using relevant software and technology to manage import/export operations
  6. Ability to work well in a team and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes
  7. Fluency in English, both written and verbal
