Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in your assigned section.
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, standards, and hygiene regulations.
  • Support the Chef de Partie in managing stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Take initiative to learn and improve cooking techniques and product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
  • Passion for cooking and attention to detail.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Culinary diploma or relevant certification is an advantage.
