We're Hiring: Quantity Surveyor/Project Controller (Bali / Indonesia)

At Altarize Materials, we develop natural and upcycled construction materials designed to replace high-energy, high-impact products in today's building industry. Our mission is to make sustainable materials accessible, affordable, and scalable — without toxins, without sand, and with drastically lower embodied energy.

We've supported 400+ projects, created almost 200 jobs, and expanded from Bali to Lombok and Thailand. Now we're searching for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to help strengthen our project planning, costing, and financial control as we continue to grow.

We're Looking For :

A detail-driven, analytical professional who takes pride in accuracy and clear communication. Someone who understands construction costs, can read drawings and BOQs confidently, and enjoys supporting both clients and internal teams with reliable numbers.

  • Have experience in quantity surveying, construction costing, or project financials
  • Can read and interpret BOQs, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Are confident preparing detailed quotations and analyzing material requirements
  • Are organized, structured, and excellent with documentation
  • Communicate clearly in English when dealing with clients and contractors
  • Can manage change orders, track variations, and support project controls
  • Want to contribute your skills to a mission-driven company improving the future of construction

Responsibilities :

  • Review and interpret BOQs, architectural drawings, and project specifications
  • Prepare accurate quotations, estimates, and material take-offs
  • Track and evaluate change orders and variations throughout project execution
  • Support project managers with cost updates and budget control
  • Maintain updated project documentation and financial records
  • Coordinate with sales, project, and technical teams to ensure quotation accuracy
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding quantities, pricing, and adjustments
  • Help ensure projects run on budget and with financial transparency
