Pebble & Fins is a dive-focused resort located in Tulamben, North Bali, directly facing the Boga Shipwreck and minutes from the world-renowned USAT Liberty Wreck. Job Overview:
The Sales Manager (Dive Resort) plays a key leadership role in steering Pebble & Fins' commercial direction. You will share ownership of revenue targets, lead sales strategy, and ensure marketing efforts align with the resort's growth and positioning.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You'll work closely with the General Manager to evaluate markets, weigh opportunity costs, and make data-backed, calculated decisions on where to focus efforts. While the current strategy emphasizes B2B diving markets, this focus may evolve — the right candidate will have the agility to pivot when needed, explore new market segments, and build systems that support long-term scalability.
You will also mentor and grow a downline sales team, building internal capability through coaching, process clarity, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Market Development
- Share ownership of revenue targets and lead sales efforts balancing short-term wins with long-term growth.
- Work with the General Manager to assess market trends, priorities, and resource trade-offs for strategic decision-making.
- Manage and expand partnerships with dive centers, agents, instructors, and tour operators, maintaining key markets while testing new ones.
- Stay agile — able to pivot between B2B, B2C, membership, or partnership models as business focus evolves.
- Drive creative sales initiatives and campaigns to engage target markets, combining calls, chats, emails, and events to convert leads.
- Analyze performance and market data to refine pricing, products, and positioning.
- Marketing & Branding
- Plan and execute targeted digital campaigns across social media, email, and WhatsApp.
- Collaborate with creative teams to tell Pebble & Fins' story authentically through consistent, high-converting content.
- Strengthen online presence with SEO, ads, and storytelling that attract and retain guests.
- Align marketing messages with on-ground operations to ensure guest experience matches the brand promise.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, coach, and develop a capable sales support team and interns to strengthen future capacity.
- Build clear SOPs, communication standards, and review systems that drive accountability.
- Cultivate a positive, performance-driven team culture built on growth and collaboration.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Work cross-departmentally to ensure smooth handover from sales to operations.
- Contribute to management discussions on pricing, promotions, and market direction.
- Maintain clean CRM data and produce concise weekly/monthly reports highlighting results, risks, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development (hospitality, diving, or travel industry preferred).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate trade-offs, analyze opportunities, and make business decisions collaboratively.
- Proven ability to drive sales through relationship management, creative campaigns, and consistent outreach.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Bahasa Indonesia or other regional languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, etc.) are a plus.
- Familiar with digital tools (CRM, WhatsApp Business, Meta/Google Ads, Analytics).
- Strong leadership and mentoring mindset.
- Passionate about diving, ocean life, and building meaningful guest experiences.
