I. Position Overview
To be fully responsible for the strategic planning, development, and operation of offline channels in the Indonesian market. The role involves building an efficient channel network, driving sales target achievement, and reporting to the Regional Sales Head.
II. Key Responsibilities
- Channel Development & Expansion: Focus on key retail channels such as supermarkets (leading convenience stores like Indomaret and Alfamart, hypermarkets like Hero and Transmart) and traditional channels (mom-and-pop stores, regional distributors). Develop and execute channel expansion plans covering key Indonesian cities, ensuring the successful signing of partnership agreements.
- Partner Management & Enablement: Establish a tiered management system for distributors (including KPI assessments and rebate policies), provide product and operational training, maintain terminal pricing systems, resolve channel conflicts, and ensure a stable supply chain.
- Market & Compliance Operations: Analyze competitor channel strategies, optimize product portfolios based on local market demands (e.g., Halal certification requirements), and ensure channel partnerships comply with Indonesian regulations (e.g., contract drafting, qualification compliance). Collect and relay terminal consumer feedback to headquarters.
- Target Achievement & Team Management: Achieve regional sales targets, oversee channel data analysis and review, and build and empower the local channel team.
III. Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in offline channel management in Indonesia within the FMCG or related industries. Candidates with a proven track record of distributor development or successful partnerships with leading convenience stores (e.g., coverage across 10+ cities) will be prioritized.
- Skills: In-depth understanding of the Indonesian market distribution chain (e.g., pricing logic from Jakarta's primary distributors to regional distributors), strong negotiation skills, ability to resolve channel conflicts, and resource integration capabilities.
- Localization: Proficiency in Mandarin or English (preferred) is highly desirable. Familiarity with local business culture, regulatory requirements, and prior experience managing local teams will be an advantage.
