Senior Sustainability Specialist

Placement in Alam Sutera, South Tangerang or Surabaya, East Java (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define Aplikasi Supers ESG roadmap along with the commitments, targets (long-term and short-term), relevant KPI and metrics which are linked to the businesss strategy and goals.
  • Set the right standards and strategic foundations for ESG through creation of policy, guidelines and principles on ESG practices at Aplikasi Super.
  • Ensure the alignment of ESG strategy and implementation towards UN Sustainable Development Goal.
  • Advocate change management strategy for newly created ESG policies in the organization.
  • Analyze current ESG practices and processes while identifying and mitigating potential gaps or risks or errors.
  • Keep abreast of the current global and local rules and regulations while ensuring the relevancies of Aplikasi Supers ESG policies.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders by becoming the subject matter expert, advisor and/or partner for the implementation of ESG practices in the organization.
  • Drive relevant projects related to corporate sustainability initiatives on several elements, including waste, water, energy and emissions.
  • Generate ESG/Sustainability reporting for stakeholders, investors and public audiences on Aplikasi Supers efforts towards the realization of a sustainable future in accordance with internationally recognized standards (e.g. UN SDGs, PRI, TCFD and SASB).

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in the field of environmental/climate science, sustainability, or public health.
  • Broad knowledge of ESG local and international standards, frameworks and regulatory requirements towards various standardization practices.
  • Working experience in managing various nuances of challenges in building up standards and practices from scratch, with passion towards start-up environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Have excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
