Company Description

PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia (MTI) is a joint venture between PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (80%) and Eternal Tsingshan Group Limited (20%). MTI's factory, located in the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP), Central Sulawesi, will focus on various extraction processes, including pyrite concentrate, acid production, chloridation roasting, and metal extraction. The facility processes high-quality waste ore and pyrite ore, transported from Wetar Island, with an annual nominal capacity of over 1 million tonnes. The products include sulfuric acid, saturated steam, iron ore pellets, copper sponge, lead-zinc hydroxide, doré gold, and silver.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mandarin Procurement Staff located in Morowali. The Mandarin Procurement Staff will be responsible for managing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers and expediting. Daily tasks will also include analyzing procurement data and ensuring efficient procurement processes. The role requires fluency in Mandarin for effective communication with suppliers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Purchase Orders, Supplier Evaluation, and Expediting skills
  • Exceptional Analytical Skills and experience in Procurement
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English for effective communication
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in the mining or chemical industry is a plus
